Applicant Criteria

Although a demonstrated responsibility for learning is the most important criterion, the admissions committee also looks for qualities of character and maturity, as well as the ability and willingness to contribute to the life of the school community. Differences in a student background, economic circumstance, and educational opportunity are also valued and thoughtfully weighed in our decisions. Above all, we strive to bring a well-rounded, interesting, and diverse group of creative students to our boarding school.
