Health Insurance

International students are required to purchase their own health insurance, with annual costs typically ranging from $1,500–$2,000, depending on the plan selected. We recommend a student health insurance plan offered through UnitedHealthcare, which is the most commonly chosen option among our students due to its comprehensive coverage and flexibility. There are three levels of coverage available, allowing families to select the best fit for their needs and budget, all designed to support students studying away from home. You can explore plan details and purchase coverage here: isp.isminc.com

Financial Aid

At Besant Hill, we are committed to working with applicants to make our unique school affordable to a wide range of socio-economically diverse families. We understand that investing in your child’s future is a significant decision, and we are here to support you through that process.

Financial aid awards are determined based on the information provided through the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), along with the cost of attendance and a family’s estimated contribution for the upcoming academic year. All awards are grants that do not need to be repaid, made possible through the generous support of our alumni, parents, and friends of the school. This year alone, Besant Hill awarded over $500,000 in financial aid to nearly 20% of our students.

Families can begin the application process here. All financial aid information is kept strictly confidential. For U.S. citizens, employment income must be verified through a U.S. tax return. International applicants are encouraged to apply by completing this form and submitting all required documents as outlined within it.

We encourage families to submit their financial aid application alongside their admissions application to ensure full consideration. Financial aid is reviewed on a rolling basis.

“She has the tools to positively affect her own life and the world around her. For this we are deeply grateful. No parent can put a price on that.”
