Fall Play: Dirty Work at the Crossroads

The Performing Arts Department at Besant Hill School presented the melodramatic comedy Dirty Work At The Crossroads by Bill Johnson in the Zalk Theater on Friday, November, 8.

The play tells the melodramatic story of Nellie Lovelace, an innocent country girl, Munro the viper, his wife Ida Rhinegold, belle of the New Haven Music Halls, and Adam Oakhart the handsome blacksmith’s son with a heart of gold. The play is presented in the style of old fashioned melodramas, and the audience will be encouraged to “Boo” the villain and cheer “Hooray” for the hero.

The students have worked hard to present this theatrical production! Bravo!
