Spring Arts Weekend, April 28 & 29

A special weekend in April when families, friends, and alumni join us to celebrate student achievement in the arts. The weekend includes an art gallery exhibition and reception, a Spring Concert, two performances of our Spring Musical, a campus tour, and our annual Sculpture Garden ceremony. Music Festival and Creative Lab Come to School Campus

Following the weekend Ojai Music Festival Sunrise Concerts in the Zalk Theater, our school campus is host to the first-ever Eighth Blackbird “Creative Lab”, a week long intensive worshop for musicians and composers.

Alumnus Arthur Hughes '60 on Artist Boris Lurie

Boris Lurie -- rounded up by the Nazis from Riga's Jewish ghetto in 1941 and a survivor of five concentration camps and liberated from Buchenwald -- became an artist in New York in the 1940s, and was radically minded -- is having an exhibition of his artwork at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana, Cuba, September 22 to November 19.
