Art Students Curate Visual Arts Exhibit

Spring Arts Weekend Celebrations were kicked off Friday, April 28 with a reception and student-curated art exhibit. The Art History class took the lead this year to work through the exciting challenges of curating a large show in a small space.  Unlike in years past, the class worked with both Curtis and Chris on the show rather than having its own stand-alone event, which traditionally has taken place earlier in spring.

The show included work from each student currently enrolled in a visual arts class, they also accepted submissions from the student body at large. This way, if a student is an active visual artist, but currently in performing arts, they still had the opportunity to have their work recognized.

The artwork was beautifully displayed and showed the great variety of mediums and styles from our creative student body!
