On Monday, February 5th, Besant Hill School was honored to welcome a group of socially conscious members of the Thirst Project, who presented on their work around the world and their new initiative to provide clean drinking water to every citizen of Swaziland.

Last week, biology students received a shipment of tiny Rainbow Trout eggs from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife This week, tiny baby trout can be spotted nestled into the gravel at the bottom of the classroom aquarium.

For the last 15 or so years, Besant Hill School has attended the Bioneers Conference in Marin, CA. In the early years, students from Besant Hill School were among only a handful of student conference attendees.
15 students and two faculty members worked with biologists from CIES to plant 1,100 native plants on one of the island’s more sensitive slopes and seabird habitats.
It was such a pleasure to have families, friends, and alumni join us here on campus for this year’s Family Weekend and 60th-ish Alumni Reunion celebrations last weekend!
Registration is now open for our Experiential Learning trip to Iceland during the 2018 Spring Break. Students and faculty will experience the unique culture and landscape of Iceland as they visit a variety of landmarks, museums, and natural wonders.
