Getting to the Getty

On Friday, November 3,  35 students and four teachers traveled 90 minutes south to The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles where we stood face-to-face with master works and toured current exhibits. We saw illuminated manuscripts from the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance, transported ourselves back in time to adore the incredible precious metal art and textiles of the ancient Americas, and then some of our students acted as docents for one another in a French language tour.

We all agree we could return for another day or two and still not see everything!
