Circuit Training

The Circuit Training program focuses on functional movements that are constantly varied and performed at high intensity. Core strength, conditioning, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, and balance are all areas we work on in the program.

At Besant Hill School, we scale everything to the individual student. Each workout includes a warmup, stretching, strength training/conditioning, and a cool down. Techniques, skills, and safety are taught for every move and we spend time reflecting on not only the workouts, but what areas of our bodies they are strengthening.

Weight Lifting

Weight Lifting is for those who want to increase their muscular endurance, gain muscle mass, raise their metabolism, and strengthen their bones. Everyone can benefit from the weight training class regardless of their fitness level.

The class is for beginners as well as for advanced students. Everyone works at their own ability level, challenging themselves on a daily basis. The Weight Room at Besant Hill has various training equipment that includes weight machines as well as free weights. Upon joining the class, students receive a workout plan, which they follow daily. Students are trained to always follow safety guidelines on all exercises in order to avoid risk of injuries.
