Application Process

We’re thrilled that you’re considering Besant Hill! Our goal is to ensure that your application process is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

1. Submit Inquiry
Complete the inquiry form to connect and to receive information about events, deadlines, and important reminders.

2. Submit Application
Families can apply online or via the Standard Application Online (SAO). The application consists of: 

  • Student Profile and Short Essay 
  • Parent Questionnaire 
  • Current English and Math Teacher Recommendations
  • Student Choice Teacher Recommendation
  • Transcripts: Academic records including the past 3 years 

3. English Proficiency (International Applicants)
English proficiency test results must be submitted for applicants for whom English is not their primary language and have not been in a setting where English is the primary language of instruction. Official scores must be sent directly from one of the testing organizations. 

4. Complete Admissions Interview
Once your application has been submitted, you may schedule your interview online by contacting the admissions office. 

InitialView: InitialView is a live, interactive interview platform that can be used to showcase communication ability. An InitialView interview is not required, but, if you have completed one, we encourage you to submit your results to Besant Hill. Please note that this does not replace the required admissions interview.

Standardized Testing

Besant Hill does not require standardized testing in the application review process. You’re looking for the right match and we’re looking for qualities of character and maturity, as well as the ability and willingness to contribute to the life of the school community.
