West Coast College Visit

A BESANT HILL SCHOOL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROJECT

This project will introduce students to a customized itinerary of colleges and universities up and down the West Coast. Students will have the chance to experience first-hand what college life is all about, and have an exciting and educational time with classmates and friends.

**Exact itinerary of colleges to visit may differ from these examples
There will be student led campus tours, meetings with admission officers, campus meals, classroom visits, activities, and plenty of sightseeing. Overnight lodging will be in hotels or on college campuses. Activities may include exploring the areas surrounding the schools, attending special events, and shopping in malls and markets (Lincoln City and Pike’s Place Market). Throughout the trip, participants will receive helpful information, materials, and tips on how to make the most of the campus visits.

In addition to this registration form, students will also be required to submit a $1,000 deposit at the time of application, to be applied to the total trip cost. Once the student has been selected for the project, a $100 non-refundable administration fee will apply. The remaining balance will be due December 16th.
The total cost of this project has yet to be determined and will be based on the total number of participants and the colleges selected for the itinerary. The anticipated cost is approximately $2500 per student. Transportation, lodging, all meals, all admission fees and excursion costs, and travel insurance will be included in the cost of the project. Participants will provide their own spending money for snacks and souvenir shopping.
