  • Open House Assembly Honors MLK

    On Monday, January 16, we hosted an engaged group of prospective families for Open House. Families toured the campus, visited classes, participated in a panel discussion, attended the assembly, and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

  • Sierra Club Exec as Distinguished Speaker 1-25

    On Wednesday, 1-25, as part of our Distinguished Speakers Series, we are honored to welcome Sierra Club Deputy Executive Director Bruce Hamilton to campus for an interview and conversation with students. Hamilton has worked for the Sierra Club for over 38 years. He started as a regional Sierra Club organizer in the northern Rocky Mountains and northern plains states, then served as national field director, and later as national conservation director.

  • Schools Compete to Save Energy

    This week marks the beginning of our ninth year participating in the Green Cup Challenge, our annual energy saving competition. We'll compete within our school (designated buildings and dormitories) and with participating schools to see how much we can reduce our energy consumption for a month.

  • Special Screening of Documentary "Before the Flood" Thursday 1-13-17

    On Thursday there will be a special screening in the Zalk Theater of Before the Flood, a new documentary film addressing the causes and effects of climate change. The screening will be followed by a discussion period. Expect to hear more from Tod and student sustainability leaders about this upcoming screening.

  • "The Hill" A Media Team Holiday Newscast

    Our always clever student Media Team with their holiday newscast "The Hill" featuring Cate and Katie, Siri doing the weather, and a commercial break from their sponsor, the Sustainability Department.

  • Big Bear Ski and Snowboard Trip Feb 10-13

    Head to the slopes February 10-13 for our annual outdoor education ski and snowboard trip to Big Bear! Cost includes transportation, lodging, food, lift tickets, equipment rentals, and lessons. For more information and to reserve your spot, contact Monika @

  • 2016 Fall Variety Show Photos and Video

    Enjoy photos and video from our recent Fall Variety Show that featured music, magic, spoken word, dancing, and more from our talented students and faculty! There were a few surprise acts including a McChicken feast and Head of School Randy Bertin singing the Creedence classic "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." It was very fun night.

  • Basketball Season Begins with CIF-SS Tournaments

    The Boys Basketball team began the season with two high-profile CIF-SS tournaments. The Nordhoff High School tournament was a four-day affair, running 11/30 - 12/3, and the Coyotes went a respectable 2-2 while playing larger schools in higher divisions. They started the tourney 0-2 but defeated two local schools, Fillmore and host-school Nordhoff.
