A special weekend in April when families, friends, and alumni join us to celebrate student achievement in the arts.
On April 7, 2017, Randy Bertin and Tina Leslie will be in Tokyo to host a special evening for Japanese alumni and friends!
Our school magazine, Aun Aprendo, is named after our school motto, which means “I am still learning.” Explore photos, articles, links to video, save-the-dates, and more. Find alumni news in the Alumni Howl section.
Boris Lurie — rounded up by the Nazis from Riga’s Jewish ghetto in 1941 and a survivor of five concentration camps and liberated from Buchenwald — became an artist in New York in the 1940s, and was radically minded — is having an exhibition of his artwork at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana, Cuba, September 22 to November 19.
With possibly the best Aun Aprendo cover photo EVER, courtesy of student Han S. ’20, our Fall edition of Aun Aprendo is hot off the digital press. We thank our alumni and dedicated staff for their many contributions, and our students for the great spirit they fill the campus with, each and every day.
During this weekend’s Family Weekend, family, friends, alumni, and foodies from near and far will join together on our 500 beautiful acres as renowned chef Mary Sue Milliken, along with our talented in-house chefs Juana Juarez and Mary Mills, prepare a memorable meal under the stars.
On October 22, alumnus Kiefo Nilsson ’03, with brother Zak Nilsson narrating, and a stellar band, put on a great performance of their father Harry Nilsson’s 1971 album and animated feature The Point!
In advance of Saturday night’s benefit show, alumnus Kiefo Nilsson ’03 took time for a live interview with Kevin, played us a few songs, and engaged in a thoughtful Q&A session with students.
Seventy years ago, on October 1, 1946, with ten students, three teachers, and three dogs, the Happy Valley School was born.
Aun Aprendo is hot off the digital press. Thanks to the many dedicated staff members and alumni, and to our students!
