This week we said goodbye to a wonderful group of students attending the Besant Hill Summer Institute from Kazakhstan. These twenty bright students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS) were such a pleasure to have on campus. Their pride in Kazakh traditions, enthusiasm for learning about California and engagement in the classroom, was enjoyed by our faculty, staff and fellow students.

The Ojai Music Festival is a week long event with concerts taking place in different venues across the Ojai Valley. The Ojai Sunrise Concert, a sold out, early-morning concert took place in the in the Zalk Theater, with one act using sound and custom light mapping software that made the bulbs pulse along with the strings and percussion.
