Katrine earned her Bachelor Degree from University of California, Santa Barbara. During her time at UCSB, she also became a Certified Massage Therapist and, after college, she added a certificate to teach yoga. After starting a family with her husband Ben, Katrine went back to school to become a registered nurse. She graduated from Santa Barbara City College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She worked for Cottage Hospital in Labor and Delivery for a total of 6 years.

Katrine began working for Besant Hill School of Happy Valley in October of 2008. This is her third year with BHS. It has been a wonderful experience and a blessing for her and her family.

As Director of Health Services at BHS, Katrine oversees all the student medications, medical appointments and general health of the student body. She is on campus Monday thru Friday during school hours, 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Katrine lives in town with her husband and their three children. When she is not working, she enjoys her family and their very active life. Most weekends you can find her pool side at a swim meet or volunteering for Ojai Roadrunners during track season. Whatever the venue, be it swimming, running, cycling, camping or surfing, you will be sure to see her outdoors with her family.
