GUESS WHO'S COMING TO THE ACTORS FESTIVAL?

PATRICK ADAMS graduated from the USC's BFA acting program in 2004 and has had the good fortune to work consistently since. His theatre credits include The Goat at the Mark Taper Forum, Equivocation at the Geffen Playhouse, and he directed Peter Weiss' Marat/Sade which won the LA Weekly Production Of The Year award in 2006. Television credits include Lost, Friday Night Lights, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, Without a Trace, and Lie to Me. Film credits include RAGE, Weather Girl and Old School. He loves having any reason to come up to Ojai and will jump at the chance to work with the insane talent at the Besant Hill School.



TROIAN BELLISSARIO graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Theatre, earning a bachelor of fine arts in acting. Bellisario has had a recurring role on the television series "NCIS" and guest starring parts on "First Monday," "JAG" and "Quantum Leap," among others. She was seen in the theatrical motion picture "Last Rites," as well as the independent films "Peep World," "Consent" and "Billboard Dad." On stage, she appeared in "Farragut North" and "Equivocation" at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. With The Casitas Group, a theatre company of which she is a founding member, Bellisario appeared in an exclusive engagement of Martin McDonagh's "The Pillowman," as well as a Sam Shepard double feature: "Fool for Love" and "True West." She has also performed in university theatre productions of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead," "The Suicide," "All's Well That Ends Well" and "Machinal." She currently play Spencer Hastings on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars.





NEIL CAMPBELL is a writer, performer, and the Artistic Director of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles. His acting credits include Reno 911 and The Sarah Silverman Program and his writing credits include the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, Human Giant, and This Show Will Get You High. His improv team at the UCB Theatre, Last Day of School, was named the Best Improv in Los Angeles in LA Weekly's 2009 "Best of LA" issue.




MICHAEL CASSADY is an actor/musician from Iowa who has been performing live theatre, music, and comedy in Los Angeles since 2003. A very active perfomer at UCB, he performs there weekly and is a proud member of the sketch group "A Kiss From Daddy", and the UCB Harold Team "Arts & Athletics." Other UCB credits include Freak Dance, Fireball Deluxe:DadQuest, Before They Were Giants, Comedy Death Ray, See You Next Tuesday, Sketch Cram, What’s Going On? with Mike Mitchell, Two Ghostbusters Meet Two Ninja Turtles, Please Seat Yourself, The Cigar of Charlyne Yi and many others.

Michael writes, plays, and sings in the piano-pop trio "Don’t Stop Or We’ll Die" and the soul-rock band "The Cotillionaires", and performed with the national tour of the Always Sunny In Philadelphia musical in 2010. He has written songs and composed music for many videos and live stage shows, and his composition projects include writing the music for the Spike show "Players" and scoring the film "Freak Dance", a breakdance musical by UCB’s Matt Besser.

Theatre credits include: solo play Catalpa at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Evidence Room Theatre Los Angeles (Winner of 2006 LA WEEKLY AWARD for Best Solo Performance); Shipwrecked! at South Coast Repertory and the revival at the Geffen Playhouse, among others. Film credits: Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Paramount), Killers (Lionsgate), Eagle Eye (Dreamworks). TV credits: New Adventures of Old Christine, Popzilla, Mind of Mencia.


RICK CLEVELAND is an Emmy Award winning writer and producer whose television credits include "The West Wing," "Six Feet Under," "Mad Men," and "Nurse Jackie." His screenplay credits include "Jerry and Tom," and the adaptation of John Grisham's "Runaway Jury." His one man show, "My Buddy Bill" won the Best Solo Performance Award at HBO's Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen in 2006 and was subsequently filmed as a Comedy Central Special.





SPENCER GRIFFIN is the Executive Producer of CollegeHumor.com, where he oversees bicoastal production of 12-15 original videos each week. As a destination site itself and the #7 all-time subscribed channel on YouTube, CollegeHumor Originals are seen over 80 million times per month by over 15 million unique users. Spencer also produces for Jason Bateman and Will Arnett's company, DumbDumb, which was last year's recipient of the One Show Entertainment Gold Pencil for online branded entertainment. As part of his work for CollegeHumor he also serves as Executive Producer of CollegeHumor-owned websites, Dorkly.com and Jest.com. A graduate of The University of Iowa, Spencer currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

BROOK MASTERS graduated from The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She spent well over a decade performing on stages in Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego before finally landing in beautiful Ojai. In her role as College Counselor at Besant Hill School, Brook feels blessed for the opportunity to guide future artistic professionals in their searches for higher education options. Brook has sat in many seats in the world of professional and educational theatre, from actor to director, producer to choreographer. Here in Ojai, Brook has choreographed the last five musical productions at Nordhoff High School, and the last two musical productions of the Besant Hill School Drama Department. Ojai residents may remember Brook from the Ojai Art Center’s 2007 production of 110 in the Shade as Lizzie, and as Puck in Ojai Shakespeare Festival’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In addition to serving as the Director of College Counseling for BHS, Brook also heads the Experiential Learning Program and the Dance Department.


STEVE NICOLAIDES (Producer) - was born in Los Angeles in 1948. He has been in the film and television business for thirty-six years, working with directors Rob Reiner, John Singleton, Jared Hess, Rick Linklater, Justin Lin, Ulu Grosbard, and his wife, Caroline Thompson. He has worked in Europe, Canada, Mexico, and all over the United States. Two projects he worked on, Boyz N The Hood and A Few Good Men, were nominated for Academy Awards.


BETSY RANDLE is best known as "the mom" on the TV series, Boy Meets World and as "Karen" on, Home Improvement. Her other television and film credits include The Factory, Charmed, Dear John, Hogan’s Family, Down Home, Family Ties… The Beat, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. On stage, Betsy replaced Melissa Manchester in the lead role of the musical Hats in Chicago and then upon returning to LA, she played "Heloise" in Victory Theater’s My Old Friends; followed by "Grandma Tzeitl" in Rubicon Theater’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. More recently Betsy was honored to play "Amanda", in Besant Hill’s production of The Glass Menagerie as their "guest artist". Other favorite roles, over the years, include "Louisa" in The Fantastics and "Dora" in Night Must Fall; "Sally" in Tribute ; "the alien" in Dan Castellaneta’s Earthers on Hollywood’s Theatre Row; Mrs. Soames in Our Town at Ojai’s Libby Bowl with Peter Straus, directed by Scott Campbell; Dalliah in Hate Mail at Ojai’s Theater 150 where she also played Virginia Woolf in On The Edge; "the mother" in the opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors and originating the role of "Mary" in the world premier of Garry William’s award winning, Rain. Betsy created and continues to perform her two Club Acts, sharing the ongoing theme, Avoiding Extinction. Not yet extinct, she recently wrote and directed The Nanas and the Papas at Theater 150, where she also enjoys coaching singing and "acting a song", on a private basis, as well as thru her FYV Workshops.





MICHAEL B. SILVER Born and raised in New York City, Michael graduated from Brown University and has acted in over 200 television, film and theater projects over the last 20 years. Currently, he is shooting a pilot for J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot. Michael’s just sold his first feature, Love Shack (which he co-wrote/directed/produced and starred in), to Showtime. He also teaches acting at the prestigious Theater Tribe in NoHo, has written for two NBC series and is currently developing others.






LIAM SPRINGTHORPE earned his BFA from CalArts in 08. The same year he was fortunate enough to perform in the Ojai Playwright Conference. Liam is also a member of the Lunacy Commission. An improv group based in LA. Free lobotomies upon entry. Liam is also an avid musician and playwright.


CAROLINE THOMPSON (Writer) - was born in 1956 in Washington, D.C. She lives with her husband, Steve Nicolaides, two dogs and five horses on their ranch in Ojai. She has written ten produced screenplays, four of which she directed herself. She is probably best known as the screenwriter of EDWARD SCISSORHANDS and THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
