Spring Arts Weekend, April 28 & 29

A special weekend in April when families, friends, and alumni join us to celebrate student achievement in the arts. The weekend includes an art gallery exhibition and reception, a Spring Concert, two performances of our Spring Musical, and our annual Sculpture Garden ceremony, and special alumni events.

Student Art Exhibit

Reception: Friday, April 28, 2pm
Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, Logan Gallery

This year, the Besant Hill School art history class will be working through the exciting challenges of curating a large show in a small space. The show will include work from each student currently enrolled in a visual arts class and the student body at large. Enjoy snacks, beverages, and live music by students and faculty. Those joining us for the weekend will pick up name badges and sign in. The gallery will be open to visitors through the weekend.

Headlining the Spring Arts events will be the Besant Hill School of Happy Valley drama departments rendition of the smash hit musical “Leader of the Pack: The Ellie Greenwich Story”. Special Alumni Events

Honoring the Class of 67 +

This year’s alumni gathering will feature the Class of 1967, who will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary.  While our 1967 Alumni will be our honored guests, classes on both sides of 1967 are not only welcome but considered extended members of the class given that the classes were so small (6-15 graduates per class).  Please come to reminisce, reconnect, and enjoy looking back at photos and memorabilia from the last 70 years of this glorious place.
